Media Kit/Contact Info

Let me welcome you to Broadband Library®, the resource center for technical products and services in the broadband cable telecommunications industry. The award-winning Broadband Library is the leading repository of knowledge for cable telecommunications engineers. Each of the 13,000+ members of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers receives the Library on a quarterly basis as an exclusive member-benefit.
To ensure timely delivery to all points, international members receive their copies via first-class mail. Additionally, bonus distribution includes every meeting of the Society’s 75 chapters and meeting groups across the United States and internationally, as well as the broadband industry’s major conventions. And the Library's reach doesn’t stop there — its interactive e-branch at www.broadbandlibrary.com provides worldwide access 24 hours a day, every day.
As quoted by Library contributor Walt Ciciora, “The SCTE is our most important tool in the quest for ‘live long learning.’ Broadband Library was designed for the Society ... (offering) practical technical details on what products and services are available in the broadband industry. It is always up-to-date and, therefore, keeping up with the changes in the industry.”
Each issue of Broadband Library features columns by top-level business leaders, engineers and Society representatives voicing opinions and views on the broadband industry and its technology. Plus, a well-known “Guest Author” appears every quarter, writing about technological advancements or issues of concern to the industry. Past “Guest Authors” have included some of the industry’s top leaders and visionaries, such as Bill Bresnan, Bill Daniels, Mark Dzuban, Marwan Fawaz, Richard Green, Scott Hatfield, Leo Hindery, Amos Hostetter, Jerry Kent, John Malone, John Rigas, Jim Robbins, Ted Rogers, Robert Sachs, Bill Schleyer, John Sie, Tony Werner and more.
In addition, Broadband Library’s paid advertising listings section, “On the Shelf,” is indexed by categories in alphabetical order, making it a user-friendly way to research and study products and services. The Library’s interactive e-branch at www.broadbandlibrary.com provides hyperlinks directly to advertiser Web sites, enabling readers to further research information anytime.
Page after page of great products, services and editorial all make up the exciting “story” of broadband cable that evolves each issue — just as technology itself evolves and advances.
Now that your tour is complete, have fun exploring. — Cathy Wilson, Publisher
